Black women breastfeed their babies at lower rates than white women, according to a new government study. This decades-old disparity amounts to more than whether or not a woman chooses to breastfeed her child, experts said.

Getty ImagesThe Duchess of York has spoken of her "shock" at being diagnosed with malignant melanoma, a form of skin cancer, but is in "good spirits".
In an Instagram post, she said she was "grateful for the many messages of love and support".
The melanoma was discovered following the removal of a cancerous mole during treatment for breast cancer.
The duchess, Sarah Ferguson, had several moles removed and analysed while having reconstructive surgery. Read More...
